What makes your services different than hair salons?

Your Wedding is a Special Event that requires special attention.

We are a wedding professionals providing a convenient and personal service by traveling to you on your special day.

Unlike Hair Salons,  we don't have clients before or after you. We understand that it's your day, a very special day and quite often a very hectic day. All our artists are trained to work under pressure and remain calm in any event. We'll even stay with you until you are ready to leave just in case you would need anything else. Often times we help our Brides getting dress with finishing touches and they love the last minutes touch-ups pictures in their wedding gown.

Although all members of our team are state licensed, Please note that we do not provide any hair salons services including but not limited to hair cutting or coloring. However due to the special circumstances of a wedding, we understand that our clients often need the services of a hairstylists to come to them too. We are offering bridal hairstyling just for that special event.

Why should I hire a makeup artist?

You are spending so much money on your Wedding; so much time looking for the perfect Wedding Gown or choosing the colors of your flowers...Your wedding will be one of the most photographed events of your life.  Having your makeup applied professionally will ensure a picture perfect bridal look in person as well as on camera.

I don’t usually wear makeup and I am afraid to look too made up.

Bridal makeup is a timeless look with soft and neutral colors palette. Our makeup artists are trained in makeup for photography and use professional techniques such as airbrush makeup to ensure that your makeup looks natural and flawless. During the makeup trial we will make sure to achieve the level of coverage that you are expecting and try different looks and color palettes so you could choose the one that suit you the best.

Why is the Brides Makeup Package more expensive than the Brides Hair Package?

Usually hair salons charge more for hair services because makeup application is just an add-on service for them.

At Lush Bridal Beauté, we specialize in makeup artistry by combining expensive professional grade cosmetics with the latest

technology including airbrushing to provide you with the ultimate makeup experience.

What is the difference between traditional & airbrush makeup? Is it an additional fee?

Unlike others, we do not charge more for airbrush makeup or less for traditional makeup. When you book our services you are paying for our expertise and experience in makeup artistry and not for the type of equipment we use. Whether we use traditional or airbrush makeup we still have to achieve a long lasting flawless look.

Airbrush Makeup is a technique: the makeup is applied through an airbrush gun and allows a seamless and thin application exactly the same way a french manicure would be applied manually with nail polish or airbrushed. The thinner the coat is, the faster it will dry, the longer it will last and the nicer it will look. The makeup product sprayed through an airbrush gun could be applied with a sponge or with a foundation brush but each tool will be used to achieve a different effect. Therefor the airbrush makeup is thinner and last longer than the traditional makeup because of the application techniques and not only the products.

Do I have to wear false lashes?

We highly recommend them and 100% of our clients choose to have them on their wedding day as soon as they try them on their trial day.

Your lashes fade away in photography so with the false lashes, your eyes will stand out in pictures and in person. We use Individual Lashes and put them strategically on one by one to make your own longer and fuller. They really look natural and you won’t even fell them because they are just resting on your own lashes. Nothing is glue onto your eyelid.

What type of cosmetics do you use?

As freelance makeup artists, we do not represent any cosmetics lines in particular. We use different professional cosmetics such as Kett Cosmetics, MAC Pro, Cinema Secrets, Ben Nye, Paris-Berlin... as well as cosmetics that you can find at the makeup counters like Lancome, Clarins, Clinique...

How long will it take you to do my makeup? How about my Bridal Party?

It usually takes one hour for the Bride and 1/2 hour for each other attendant.

Do you offer a trial?

Trials are included in the Bridal Packages for the Brides. You will get to know your stylist and/or makeup artist. Discuss and try different looks. Make sure there is no allergic reactions. Digital pictures will be taken and keep on file for your Wedding Day Services.

For your Bridal Hair Trial, please bring your tiara, veil and picture of your wedding gown and hairstyles desired.

Your Makeup Trial includes the application of false lashes after a full face makeup application.

Wear a white top and make a list of all the questions that you may have concerning your wedding day beauty.

Don’t hesitate to try different looks. Too many is always better than not enough!

A non-refundable fee of $80 for your makeup trial and $55 for your hair trial is required at the time of the trial. This fees will be deducted on your final bill and/or bridal package.

I loved my trial! How do I book the Stylist or Makeup Artist for my event?

You will have to fill out a contract of agreement with all the details of the day of the event. A credit card is required to reserve your day and will be charge a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total bill.

For your convenience, the balance is due and payable in full a week prior to the event to ensure the ease and enjoyment of your day.

What happen if I don’t like my trial!

All our artists are experienced professionals with a portfolio for you to review before scheduling your trial. In the rare event that you are not satisfied with our services during the trial, we will offer you another appointment with another artist.

Do you require a minimum?

We do require a minimum of 3 people including the Bride for services on your wedding day. However depending on the availability of the artist, the date, time and location of your “getting ready” address, we will always do our best to accommodate your needs.

I don’t have a final count but still would like to book my wedding date. How much is the deposit?

A non-refundable $200 is required to reserve your wedding date if you don’t know how many people will need our services the day of your event. All fees and final count of services will stated on the contract of agreement and confirmed at least 2 weeks prior to the wedding on writing via email, mail or fax with all details and schedule of services on the day of the event.

Additional tips

Wear a strapless top or button down shirt during your makeup application so as not to mess up your hair or makeup.

Be vocal. Don't be afraid to let us know your likes and dislikes so we could better meet your expectations.

Don't forget to let your artist know about any skin sensitivity or allergies you may have, so precautions are taken.

Do not try anything new two weeks prior to your event to avoid skin reactions.

Any facial waxing should be done at least three days prior to your wedding day.
